2008 has already sucked bad enough....

now this had to go and happen.....

My best friend's brother is currently hooked up on life support. He has for the last two years been abusing substances after going 5 years of being clean. He also just had a son born last week..... Last night he OD'd on some stuff....and supposedly was "dead" for 45 minutes before going to the ER and getting his heart beating again but he wasn't breathing on his own, so they put him on ventilators and whatnot...even if he did come back he most likely would have brain damage....i've known my friend since 2nd grade which would make it thirteen years...i've known her and her family for soo long, this really hurts me to see this happening....tomorrow morning they make a decision to pull the plug...he's only 26.........I'm soo sorry my friend.........

this year can go to hell......

....oh my god....its just...this year...is not. My god I don't even know what to say. I hope you are doing alright. If all this was happening to me...I don't know what I would do with myself. I will pray for you, hoping that the rest of this year can go much better

Darlin', I'm sorry to hear that, but it's simply halfway through the month and you can't toss the year aside already.
I sympathize for you and understand your losses.
Once you've had enough time to properly grieve, find things to look forward too and try to improve how the rest of the year will go for you.

Hmm, this is a spur of the moment comment, but I hope things get better.
